The best player for the winners was Joseph Avila who scored 19 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists (on 8-of-9 shooting from the field). The former international forward Federico Aguerre (203-1988) chipped in 23 points (on 9-of-10 shooting from the field). Guard Franco Vieta (194-1992) produced 18 points and forward Patricio Tabarez (195-1991) added 8 points and 6 assists respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Boca will meet at home bottom-ranked H.Americano (#20) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. La Union will play against Riachuelo LR (#11) and hope to secure a win.
