Very expected game when 11th ranked Hebraica (9-17) lost on the road to fourth ranked Urupan (17-9) 101-94 on Thursday. Urupan made 18-of-20 free shots (90.0 percent) during the game. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. It was an exceptional evening for point guard Mateo Sarni (185-1998) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 12 assists. Lithuanian center Zygimantas Riauka (206-1993, college: UW-Parkside) accounted for 12 points and 12 rebounds for the winning side. American center Jarred Shaw (208-1990, college: Utah St.) came up with 29 points (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and the former international guard Facundo Terra (185-1998) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists respectively for Hebraica in the defeat. Five Urupan and four Hebraica players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Urupan moved-up to third place, which they share with Penarol. Loser Hebraica keeps the eleventh position with 17 games lost.
