No shocking result in a game in Corrientes where second ranked San Martin (28-7) smashed 15th ranked Riachuelo LR (13-20) 87-62 on Thursday. San Martin outrebounded Riachuelo LR 41-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of swingman Maximiliano Velazquez (194-2001) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds and Franco Mendez (188-2002) who added 12 points, 8 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals during the contest. Four San Martin players scored in double figures. San Martin's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
