There was a minor upset in Cordoba where 10th ranked Atenas (16-17) was defeated by twelfth ranked Olimpico (16-18) 75-70 on Friday. Worth to mention a great performance of Ecuadorian forward Aaron Capurro (201-2000) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 11 points and 16 rebounds and the former international swingman Juan De La Fuente (195-2000) who added 17 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was forward Maximo Lomelo (201-2005) with 22 points and 7 rebounds and Ignacio Segura (195-2000) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points, 10 rebounds and 6 assists. Five Olimpico and four Atenas players scored in double figures. Atenas' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Olimpico moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Penarol. Loser Atenas keeps the tenth position with 17 games lost. Olimpico will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Atenas will play again against Olimpico (#11) in La Banda and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
