Regular Season Round 21: Puente Alto - UdeC 65-69

There was no surprise when 4th placed Puente Alto (12-7) lost at home to first ranked Universidad de Concepcion (15-4) 69-65 on Wednesday. American forward Jerry Evans (203-1990, college: Nevada) nailed a double-double by scoring 22 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and international point guard Sebastian Carrasco (180-2000) accounted for 20 points. Argentinian forward Nicholas Wadell (201-1989) came up with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and Argentinian forward Martin Chervo (200-1992) added 15 points and 11 rebounds respectively for Puente Alto in the defeat. Defending champion maintains first place with 15-4 record. Puente Alto lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with seven games lost. Universidad de Concepcion will meet Espanol de Talca (#12) on the road in the next round which should be an easy win for them. Puente Alto will play against Las Animas (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
