Regular Season Round 37: Comunicaciones - H.Americano 101-84

Not a big story in a game when 20th ranked H.Americano (11-24) lost to seventeenth ranked Comunicaciones (14-22) in Mercedes 84-101 on Sunday. Comunicaciones looked well-organized offensively handing out 31 assists. American swingman Trahson Burrell (201-1992, college: Memphis) nailed a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 10 rebounds and 5 assists for the winning side and forward Alejandro Diez (201-1987) accounted for 18 points, 15 rebounds and 8 assists. American forward Brandon Moss (208, college: LSUA) came up with 19 points and 9 rebounds and power forward Jose Peralta (202-1995) added 15 points and 6 rebounds respectively for H.Americano in the defeat. Four H.Americano players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Comunicaciones moved-up to sixteenth place, which they share with La Union. Loser H.Americano stay at the bottom position with 24 games lost. Comunicaciones will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. H.Americano will play against Obera (#9) and hope to secure a win.
