The game between second ranked San Martin (28-8) and tenth ranked La Union (18-15) was the most important one in the last round on Sunday night. San Martin was defeated by La Union in a tough game in Formosa 79-85. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of San Martin. La Union dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to San Martin's 22. La Union moved-up to ninth place. San Martin at the other side dropped to the third position with eight games lost. La Union will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. San Martin will play on the road against Union in Santa Fe and is hoping to win this game.
