Everything went according to plan when ninth ranked Obera (20-16) beat at home bottom-ranked H.Americano (11-25) 90-83. American forward Samuel Givens (197-1989, college: Drexel) notched 16 points and 9 rebounds to lead the effort and Facundo Giorgi (203-1985, college: FIU) supported him with 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Obera's coach Fabio Demti allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists by the former international point guard Lucas Reyes (181-2000) did not help to save the game for H.Americano. Uruguayan forward Juan Ducasse (207-1998, college: Santa Clara) added 14 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the guests. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures.
