There was no surprise when 8th ranked Caballeros de Culiacan (1-7) was defeated on the road by second ranked Pioneros Los Mochis (6-2) 98-90 on Wednesday. Pioneros Los Mochis dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Caballeros de Culiacan's 40. They outrebounded Caballeros de Culiacan 45-24 including a 37-21 advantage in defensive rebounds.
