Twelfth-ranked Obras (15-22) made lots of trouble for first ranked Quimsa (29-8) in Buenos Aires. The visitors from Santiado del Estero managed to secure only two-point victory 77-75. However their fans expected much easier game. It was a good game for Ecuadorian center Bryan Carabali (212-1999) who led his team to a victory with 13 points and 9 rebounds. The former international point guard Juan Brussino (185-1991) contributed with 12 points and 6 rebounds for the winners.
