No shocking result in a game when ninth ranked Ferro (22-16) beat 14th ranked Obras (15-23) in Buenos Aires 79-68 on Monday. Ferro looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Obras' players. The winners were led by point guard Juan Laterza (180-1997) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 assists and swingman Jonatan Torresi (190-1994) supported him with 20 points and 5 rebounds. Ferro's coach Federico Fernandez used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 17 points and 4 assists by Peruvian point guard Juan Pablo Venegas (183-2000) did not help to save the game for Obras.
