Not a big story in a game when 7th ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (2-8) were defeated at home by third ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (6-4) 92-80 on Wednesday. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon outrebounded Ostioneros de Guaymas 41-30 including a 36-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. American forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 15 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import forward Germain Jordan (198-1986, college: Dillard) chipped in 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Halcones de Ciudad Obregon players scored in double figures.
