There was a surprise result when seventh ranked Ostioneros de Guaymas (4-8) defeated at home second-best Astros (8-5) 86-81 on Saturday. American players dominated the game. Dylan Smith (196-1997, college: Arizona) notched 27 points and 5 rebounds to lead the effort and point guard Jaylen Fisher (188-1997, college: GCU) supported him with 21 points. Ostioneros de Guaymas' coach John Welch allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. Even a double-double of 22 points and 12 rebounds by forward Jordan Loveridge (198-1993, college: Utah) did not help to save the game for Astros. Center Matt Stainbrook (208-1992, college: Xavier) added 19 points and 8 rebounds. Four Astros players scored in double figures. Ostioneros de Guaymas maintains seventh position with 4-8 record.
