An interesting game for Adelitas which played road game in Monterrey against Fuerza Regia. Adelitas managed to get a 10-point victory 86-76. Adelitas dominated down low during the game scoring 52 of its points in the paint compared to Fuerza Regia's 30. Adelitas forced 22 Fuerza Regia turnovers. Naturalized American point guard Hazel Ramirez (165-1992, college: LMU) stepped up and scored 12 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals for the winners and American center Danielle Adams (185-1989, college: Texas A&M) chipped in 13 points and 8 rebounds. Adelitas' coach Sebastian Sucarrat allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the losing side American guard Alexis Jones (175-1994, college: Baylor) responded with a double-double by scoring 19 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists and the other American import guard Destiny Pitts (178, college: Texas A&M, agency: Green Sports Management) scored 18 points and 7 rebounds. Five Adelitas and four Fuerza Regia players scored in double figures. Adelitas will play against Halcones in Xalapa in the next round, which may be the game of the day.
