There was a minor upset when 4th placed Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (7-7) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Tijuana Zonkeys (8-7) 80-75 on Wednesday. Americans were the main players on the court also this time. Guard Josh Webster (190-1997, college: Missouri St.) fired 29 points and 4 assists for the winners. Tonzell Handy (196, college: Tougaloo) chipped in 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) produced a double-double by scoring 26 points and 12 rebounds and forward Germain Jordan (198-1986, college: Dillard) added 14 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Tijuana Zonkeys have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fourth place. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Mazatlan. Tijuana Zonkeys will meet league's leader Astros in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon will play against Venados (#5) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
