The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked Astros (14-6) in Guadalajara on Friday night. Hosts were defeated by third ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (11-9) 97-92. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Americans were the main players on the court. Forward Germain Jordan (198-1986, college: Dillard) scored 29 points and 5 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and forward Tony Farmer (201-1994, college: Lee JC) chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds during the contest. Four Halcones de Ciudad Obregon and five Astros players scored in double figures. Astros' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Despite that victory Halcones de Ciudad Obregon went down to fourth position due to points difference. Astros at the other side still keep top place with six games lost. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon are looking forward to face Tijuana Zonkeys (#6) at home in the next round. Astros will play against Venados (#7) in Mazatlan and are hoping to win this game.
