The game in Cartagena supposed to be also worth to mention about. Third ranked Bucaros (7-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Corsarios (4-7). Bucaros smashed Corsarios 93-70. Bucaros shot the lights out from three nailing 12 long-distance shots on high 52.2 percentage. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists comparing to just 10 passes made by Corsarios' players. Uruguayan Facundo Medina (190-1994) scored 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the charge for the winners and Jose Lozano (193-1993) chipped in 17 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Five Bucaros players scored in double figures. At the losing side Venezuelan center Miguel Bolivar (205-1992) responded with 15 points and 7 rebounds (on 7-of-8 shooting from the field) and forward Lysander Ameen (196-1996) scored 12 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Bucaros have a solid three-game winning streak.
