Astros looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The winners were led by American forward Jordan Loveridge (198-1993, college: Utah) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 11 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists and naturalized American guard Karim Rodriguez (196-1988) supported him with 17 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Astros' coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even a double-double of 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists by American Leon Gilmore III (201-1995, college: SF Austin) did not help to save the game for Ostioneros de Guaymas.
