Liga Metropolitan top team - Halcones (11-0) had no problems winning another game on Friday. This time they crushed sixth ranked Coeindeguasa (3-7) 95-60. Halcones forced 25 Coeindeguasa turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard David Monterroso (180-1979) who helped to win the game recording 27 points. The former international swingman Miguel Gonzalez (187-1990) contributed with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 7 steals for the winners. Helmuth Palacios answered with 14 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and Yordic Velazquez (-1994) added 8 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Coeindeguasa. Halcones have an impressive series of eleven victories in a row. They maintain first place with 11-0 record. Coeindeguasa at the other side keeps the sixth position with seven games lost. They share it with Circulo. Halcones are looking forward to face Circulo (#7) in the next round which should be theoretically another easy game. Coeindeguasa will play against Villa Nueva Jrs and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
