There was no surprise when 8th ranked Caballeros de Culiacan (6-22) was defeated at home by fourth ranked Tijuana Zonkeys (15-13) 104-86 on Tuesday. Tijuana Zonkeys dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Caballeros de Culiacan's 38. Cuban center Marvin Cairo (203-1991) scored 21 points and 9 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international Fabian Jaimes (198-1992) chipped in 24 points and 5 rebounds during the contest.
