Regular Season Round 4: Liceo PN - Truenos 99-58

Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Truenos (2-1) were rolled over on the road by fourth ranked Liceo PN (4-1) 99-58 on Saturday. Liceo PN dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Truenos' 24. Liceo PN forced 19 Truenos turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 29 assists comparing to just 9 passes made by Truenos' players. Felipe Acuna (182-92) fired 20 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 5 steals for the winners. Guard Matias Sepulveda (-1995) chipped in 26 points and 4 assists. Five Liceo PN players scored in double figures. Alessandro Morales (-1998) produced 20 points and forward Nick Morales (187-1985) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for lost side. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Liceo PN moved-up to second place, which they share with Sportiva Italiana. Loser Truenos dropped to the ninth position with one game lost. Liceo PN will meet Municipal C. (#14) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Truenos will play against Liceo Curico (#5) and hope to secure a win.
