Very expected game when 8th ranked Yale (2-3) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Aguada (4-1) 76-63 on Sunday. Aguada made 20-of-26 free shots (76.9 percent) during the game. Aguada outrebounded Yale 44-33 including 18 on the offensive glass. The best player for the winners was guard Camila Kirschenbaum (170-2002, college: Binghamton) who scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. Forward Florencia Fernandez (175-1998) chipped in 15 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. Argentinian guard Laila Raviolo (180-2000) produced 21 points and 9 rebounds and Luciana Chagas (174-2002) added 17 points and 5 rebounds respectively for the guests. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aguada keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Yale at the other side keeps the eighth place with three games lost. They share the position with Montevideo. Aguada will meet Juventud (#11) in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
