There was no surprise when 8th ranked Caballeros de Culiacan (7-25) was defeated on the road by fourth ranked Halcones de Ciudad Obregon (18-14) 100-88 on Wednesday. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Halcones de Ciudad Obregon outrebounded Caballeros de Culiacan 55-26 including a 19-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Americans were the main players on the court also this time.
