Halcones de Ciudad Obregon outrebounded Pioneros Los Mochis 48-37 including a 39-24 advantage in defensive rebounds. American center Deion McClenton (208, college: Keiser) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 19 points and 21 rebounds (on 9-of-11 shooting from the field) for the winners and international guard Jose David Estrada (190-1994, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 20 points and 8 rebounds. Four Halcones de Ciudad Obregon players scored in double figures. American Anthony Johnson (203-1988, college: Fairfield) responded with 22 points and 9 rebounds and the other American import guard Marquill Smith (193-1996, college: UWG) scored 15 points and 8 rebounds.
