We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Montevideo where 10th ranked Paysandu (1-5) was rolled over by eleventh ranked Urunday (1-5) 63-39 on Saturday. Urunday forced 34 Paysandu turnovers and had a 25-12 advantage in offensive rebounds. Forward Antonella Ormando (-2000) scored 13 points, 6 assists and 4 steals to lead the charge for the winners and forward Sabrina Molina (-2001) chipped in 17 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was center Karen Villamarin (-1985) with a double-double by scoring 12 points and 10 rebounds and Estefany Da Silva (-1985) scored 2 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Urunday left bottom position moving up to tenth place, which they share with defeated Paysandu. Urunday will meet league's second-placed Aguada on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Paysandu will play against Hebraica (#5) and hope to win that game.
