Everything went according to plan in Santiago where eighth ranked Boston College (4-3) won against 14th ranked Brisas (1-7) 74-64 on Saturday. Boston College dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Brisas' 28. Forward Rodrigo Rojas (-1997) had a double-double by scoring 23 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Ivan Pacheco (-1994) chipped in 16 points and 6 assists during the contest. The best for the losing side was power forward Sascha Frings (202-1986) with 15 points and 6 rebounds and point guard Cristobal Ordonez (195-2004) scored 18 points. Four Brisas players scored in double figures. Brisas' coach tested ten players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Boston College moved-up to sixth place, which they share with Osorno and Aleman. Loser Brisas keep the fourteenth position with seven games lost. Boston College's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Santiago Manquehue.
