Liga Femenina top team - Aguada (7-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they beat fifth ranked Hebraica (5-3) in Montevideo 83-66. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Hebraica. They outrebounded Hebraica 45-28 including a 33-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by guard Camila Kirschenbaum (170-2002, college: Binghamton) who scored that evening 24 points and Argentinian forward Ana Paz (178-1997) supported her with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. Aguada's coach Nicolas Altalef used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Even 20 points, 7 assists and 7 steals by point guard Romina Dalesandro (157-2003) did not help to save the game for Hebraica. Argentinian Abril Ramirez (167-2000) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists for the hosts. Aguada have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 7-1 record. Hebraica at the other side keeps the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Yale and Remeros. Aguada will play against Malvin (#3) in Montevideo in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Hebraica's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Yale.
