Regular Season Round 1: O.Mundial - Colon 80-84

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of O.Mundial in Montevideo on Thursday night. Hosts were defeated by Colon 84-80. Colon forced 20 O.Mundial turnovers. 26 personal fouls committed by O.Mundial helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Argentinian point guard Sebastian Alvarez (185-1989) fired 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Gianfranco Espindola (196-1999) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds. Four Colon players scored in double figures.
