Very expected game in Santiago where 14th ranked Brisas (1-9) were crushed by ninth ranked Sergio Ceppi (5-3) 92-54 on Saturday. Sergio Ceppi dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Brisas' 28. They outrebounded Brisas 42-19 including a 29-13 advantage in defensive rebounds. Sergio Ceppi looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international Julius Holt (187-1985) who scored 21 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Boris Guerra (-1987) chipped in 16 points and 8 rebounds. Four Sergio Ceppi players scored in double figures. Power forward Sascha Frings (202-1986) produced 13 points and 5 rebounds and Rodolfo Ordonez (-1987) added 11 points respectively for the guests. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Sergio Ceppi moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Arabe de Valp. and Truenos. Brisas lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the fifteenth position with nine games lost.
