Regular Season Round 8: Liceo PN - Osorno 81-56

LNB 2 top team - Liceo PN (8-1) had no problems winning another game. This time they crushed fifth ranked Osorno (5-4) in Temuco 81-56. It ended at the same time the five-game winning streak of Osorno. Liceo PN dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Osorno's 32. Liceo PN forced 22 Osorno turnovers and outrebounded them 39-21 including a 31-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. The winners were led by Felipe Acuna (182-1992) who scored that evening 18 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals and Giglio Linfati (-1992) supported him with 13 points and 7 rebounds. Four Liceo PN players scored in double figures. Liceo PN's coach felt very confident that he used 10 players and allowed the starting five to rest. Even 17 points and 6 rebounds by American center Travion Leonard (205-1993, college: Barry, agency: Interperformances) did not help to save the game for Osorno. Guard George Holt (185-1983) added 13 points and 6 rebounds for the guests. Liceo PN have an impressive five-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 8-1 record, which they share with Sportiva Italiana. Osorno at the other side dropped to the eighth place with four games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
