Bottom-ranked Sayago is still unable to win any game. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to sixth ranked Capitol (4-1) 75-67. They made 24-of-29 charity shots (82.8 percent) during the game. Sayago was plagued by 27 personal fouls down the stretch. American Akia Pruitt (203-1997, college: UNCP) stepped up and scored 29 points and 6 rebounds (was perfect 9-for-9 from the free throw line !!!) for the winners and his fellow American import Anthony Danridge (196-1986, college: N.Mexico) chipped in 9 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Capitol players scored in double figures. Point guard Emiliano Bonet (186-2001) responded with 21 points and 4 assists and forward Joaquin Jones (199-1997) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points and 10 rebounds. Capitol keeps a position of league leader, which they share with 5 other teams. Sayago at the other side still closes the standings with five games lost. Capitol's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Montevideo Larranaga.
