Regular Season Round 12: Tenis - Saracho 68-95

Bottom-ranked Tenis (0-10) tried to put together a comeback for its first victory of the season, but they fell short in the 95-68 loss to sixth ranked Saracho (6-4) in on Friday evening. They made 19-of-21 free shots (90.5 percent) during the game. Saracho outrebounded Tenis 55-42 including a 46-34 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was Argentinian forward Facundo Sanz (197-1996, agency: BIG) who had a double-double by scoring 20 points, 21 rebounds and 7 assists. Felipe Vedia chipped in 26 points and 4 assists. Four Saracho players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was Javier Balbuena who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points and 13 rebounds and Martin Rios added 19 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Saracho have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fifth place. Tenis at the other side still closes the standings with ten games lost. Saracho are looking forward to face league's leader Pichincha at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Tenis will play against San Simon (#3) and hope to get finally their first victory.
