Important game to mention about took place in Valparaiso. Fifteenth ranked Brisas (3-10) saved a 3-point victory on the road edging higher ranked Arabe de Valp. (5-7) 73-70 on Saturday evening. Worth to mention a great performance of power forward Sascha Frings (202-1986) who helped to win the game recording 20 points and 8 rebounds. Venezuelan Cristhian Poleo (-1992) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 11 rebounds for the winners. Four Brisas players scored in double figures. The former international guard Eduardo Sepulveda (186-1986) answered with a double-double by scoring 26 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Brazilian Pedro Soares (200-1991) added 18 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for Arabe de Valp.Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. Brisas maintains fifteenth place with 3-10 record. Arabe de Valp. lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the ninth position with seven games lost. Brisas' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Santiago to the arena Boston College.
