Regular Season Round 9: Heroes - Trotamundos 59-85

Everything went according to plan in Caracas where leader Trotamundos (6-0) outscored 3rd placed Heroes (2-2) 85-59 on Saturday. The best player for the winners was American forward Dwayne Davis (196-1989, college: Southern Miss) who scored 29 points and 5 rebounds. International center Nestor Colmenares (200-1987, college: Campbellsville, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 20 points and 7 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was swingman Kevin Nino (195-1991) who recorded 21 points and American guard Davion Berry (193-1991, college: Weber St.) added 7 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists respectively. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Trotamundos have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 6-0 record. Loser Heroes keep the third position with two games lost. Trotamundos will meet Gaiteros (#4) in the next round. Heroes will have a break next round.
