Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Sao Paulo: Corinthians (#4) and Franca (#8). Corinthians (3-0) won against visiting Franca (1-2) 80-69. Corinthians made 25-of-31 charity shots (80.6 percent) during the game. Corinthians outrebounded Franca 40-28 including 28 on the defensive glass. It was a great evening for forward Ludwig Agustinho (202-2001) who led his team to a victory scoring 19 points and 7 rebounds. Guard Dalaqua Almentra (182-2000) helped adding 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Corinthians players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was guard Reynan Santos (192-2004) with 30 points and 5 rebounds (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and the former international power forward Marcio Santos (204-2002) scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Franca's coach tested eleven players, but that didn't help to avoid defeat in this game. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
