This time Bauru used a home court advantage and beat the opponent from Fortaleza 69-59 on Tuesday night. Bauru looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. The best player for the winners was center Felipe Cardoso (212-2000) who had a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 4 blocks. Guard Joao Guizardi (184-2004) chipped in a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 assists. Leonardo Cravero (200-2002) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and guard Cristhya Fernandes (188-2001) added 10 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists respectively for the guests. Cearense's coach Dannyel Russo rotated twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Bauru (2-2) moved-up to sixth place. Loser Cearense dropped to the eighth position with three games lost. They share it with Franca. Bauru will meet Franca (#9) in the next round. Cearense will play against Rio Claro and hope to win that game.
