Important game to mention about took place in Maracay. Fifth ranked Toros (1-5) saved a 3-point victory at home edging 3rd ranked Llaneros (4-6) 63-60 on Wednesday evening. Toros forced 29 Llaneros turnovers. The winners were led by forward Daniel Macuare (190-1984) who scored that evening 14 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Edson Tovar (180-2005) supported him with 14 points and 4 assists. Even 18 points, 5 rebounds, 4 assists and 5 steals by American point guard Marcus Thomas (191-1995, college: Rosemont) did not help to save the game for Llaneros. Center Carlos Rodriguez (206-1989) added 13 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Toros maintains fifth position with 1-5 record. Llaneros at the other side keep the third place with six games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
