Everything went according to plan in Montevideo where fourth ranked Tabare (7-2) outscored 11th ranked Stockolmo (2-7) 85-65 on Friday. Tabare forced 19 Stockolmo turnovers and outrebounded them 43-24 including a 23-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was American center Ricardo Glenn (203-1990, college: USC Upstate, agency: Interperformances) who had a double-double by scoring 16 points and 18 rebounds. His fellow American import forward Miles Bowman Jr (198-1993, college: High Point) chipped in a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds. At the other side the best for losing team was American center Lenny Daniel (203-1987, college: CSUN) who recorded 16 points and forward Santiago Corbo Schiavone (185-2002) added 15 points respectively. Five Tabare and four Stockolmo players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. The victory was the third consecutive win for Tabare. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with 3 other teams. Stockolmo lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the tenth place with seven games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Tabare will meet Miramar (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
