Regular Season Round 15: Brillantes - Broncos 77-72

The most exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Caracas: Brillantes (#4) and Broncos (#2). Brillantes (4-5) won against visiting Broncos (6-4) 77-72. It was a great evening for American guard Hameed Ali (194-1993, college: TAMUCC) who led his team to a victory scoring 16 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Argentinian Lisandro Rasio (198-1990) helped adding 8 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was international point guard Garly Sojo (196-1999, agency: Pro Sports) with a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks and American Musa Abdul-Aleem (196-1988, college: Troy, agency: BIG) scored 13 points. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Brillantes maintains fourth place with 4-5 record. Broncos at the other side keep the second position with four games lost. Brillantes are looking forward to face league's leader Centauros in Margarita in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Broncos will have a break next round.
