We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when eleventh ranked Aleman (5-9) defeated 10th ranked Liceo Curico (4-9) in Puerto Varas 69-62 on Saturday. Venezuelan center Sergio Mijares (-1997) notched 27 points and 6 rebounds to lead the effort and center Marko Castro (192-1988) supported him with 14 points and 8 rebounds. Even a double-double of 14 points, 11 rebounds and 8 assists by center Sergio Chialva (-1994) did not help to save the game for Liceo Curico. Forward Juan Carrasco (-1998) added 16 points and 7 rebounds for the guests. Four Liceo Curico players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Aleman moved-up to tenth place. Liceo Curico lost fourth consecutive game.
