Rather predictable result in Margarita where first ranked Cocodrilos (5-1) defeated 3rd placed Supersonicos (2-4) 73-66 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Luis Bethelmy (200-1986) who had a double-double by scoring 13 points and 15 rebounds. International swingman Pedro Chourio (186-1990, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in 12 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Cocodrilos players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American-Nigerian swingman Tanksley Efianayi (198-1994, college: UCF) who recorded 14 points and 8 rebounds and American forward Cadarian Raines (205-1990, college: Virginia Tech) added 10 points and 7 rebounds respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Cocodrilos maintains first place with 5-1 record. Loser Supersonicos keep the third position with four games lost. They share it with Marinos. Cocodrilos' supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Caracas .
