Not a big story in a game in Matagalpa where 6th ranked Indigenas (2-3) were rolled over by fourth ranked Leones MGA (3-1) 89-64 on Sunday. Leones MGA outrebounded Indigenas 45-27 including a 36-17 advantage in offensive rebounds. American forward Josmel Martinez (198, college: Broward CC) fired a double-double by scoring 30 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists (on 13-of-17 shooting from the field) for the winners. Puerto Rican point guard Luis Gonzalez (183-1997, college: PR-Bayamon) chipped in 21 points and 5 assists. Four Leones MGA players scored in double figures. Dominican Jeffry Arias produced 25 points and 5 steals and Dominican power forward Teodoro Romero (202-1990) added 11 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Leones MGA have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place. Loser Indigenas keep the sixth position with three games lost.
