An exciting game between Top Four teams was played in Margarita. Third ranked Spartans faced second-ranked Supersonicos. Guests from Caracas (4-7) defeated host Supersonicos (3-5) 80-68. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Spartans players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. American guard Ramon Galloway (190-1991, college: La Salle) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points, 8 rebounds and 10 assists. International center Windi Graterol (204-1986, agency: Pro Sports) contributed with a double-double by scoring 13 points, 10 rebounds and 4 blocks for the winners. Guard Wilkerman Gomez (190-2001) answered with 19 points and Evert Bernal (195-1996) added 14 points in the effort for Supersonicos. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Spartans moved-up to second place. Supersonicos at the other side dropped to the third position with five games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
