Regular Season Round 3: Soles - Mineros 90-88

The most exciting game of round 3 in the LNBP took place in Mexicali. This derby game ended with only two-point defeat on the road of Mineros (3-2) to Soles (3-2) 90-88 in the game for the third place. Soles forced 23 Mineros turnovers. It was a good game for international point guard Moises Andriassi (185-2000) who led his team to a victory with 13 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. American Daniel Laster (199-1996, college: Gardner-Webb) contributed with 18 points for the winners. Panamanian Ernesto Oglivie (203-1989) answered with 17 points and 8 rebounds and naturalized American Durrell Summers (196-1989, college: Michigan St.) added 19 points in the effort for Mineros. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Soles is looking forward to face Libertadores (#4) in Queretaro in the next round. Mineros will play at home against Dorados and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
