Another interesting game was a derby match between two teams from Caracas: Broncos (#2) and Llaneros (#4). Broncos (8-4) won against visiting Llaneros (4-10) 80-70. They outrebounded Llaneros 39-24 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. Broncos brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. Llaneros were plagued by 29 personal fouls down the stretch.
