Aguada used a home court advantage and defeated the opponent from Mercedes 84-68 on Sunday night. Aguada forced 21 Remeros turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Forward Florencia Fernandez (175-1998) nailed 18 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Argentinian forward Ana Paz (178-1997) accounted for 19 points and 6 rebounds. Aguada's coach Nicolas Altalef used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Pia Moyano (170-1995) came up with a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Argentinian center Ornela Bacchini (188-1989, college: OLLU) added 22 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Remeros in the defeat. Aguada will meet D.Sporting in the next round, which may be the game of the day. Remeros will play against Hebraica and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
