Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: O.Mundial and Lagomar. O.Mundial won against visiting Lagomar 63-56. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when O.Mundial made 8 blocks. Panamanian-American point guard Trevor Gaskins (188-1989, college: Louisiana Tech, agency: Pro Sports) nailed a double-double by scoring 19 points, 12 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Brazilian center Romulo Gusmao (208) accounted for 7 points, 16 rebounds and 4 blocks. Forward Bernardo Barrera (200-1997) came up with 25 points and 7 rebounds and point guard Martin Larrea (188-2000) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Lagomar in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
