The game between Top Four teams took place in Caracas. Second ranked host Gladiadores (10-3) defeated 4th placed Cangrejeros (3-14) 90-86. They outrebounded Cangrejeros 41-27 including a 28-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Cangrejeros were plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for American-Puerto Rican Devon Collier (203-1991, college: Oregon St.) who led the winners with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds. The former international forward Michael Carrera (196-1993, college: S.Carolina, agency: BIG) accounted for 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winning side. American guard Lysander Bracey (193-1996, college: Hampton) came up with 25 points and 4 steals and point guard Emiro Hernandez (188-1994) added 18 points respectively for Cangrejeros in the defeat. Four Gladiadores and five Cangrejeros players scored in double figures. Cangrejeros' coach Daniel Centeno rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Gladiadores maintains second place with 10-3 record having just one victory less than leader Centauros. Cangrejeros lost fourth consecutive game. They keep the fourth position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
