Regular Season Round 5: Dorados - Fuerza Regia 100-80

An interesting game for Dorados (8-3) which hosted in Chihuahua second-ranked Fuerza Regia (7-4). First ranked Dorados had an easy win 100-80. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Dorados players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. American Donald Sims (190-1987, college: App State, agency: Pensack Sports) stepped up and scored 30 points and 6 assists for the winners and Argentinian point guard Juan Brussino (185-1991) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. The former international point guard Paul Stoll (180-1985) responded with 17 points and American guard Rodney Green (197-1988, college: La Salle) scored 16 points. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Dorados maintains first place with 8-3 record. Fuerza Regia at the other side keeps the second position with four games lost. They share it with Mineros and Astros. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
