Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Montevideo: U.Atletica (#5) and 25 de Agosto (#6). U.Atletica (2-1) crushed visiting 25 de Agosto (1-2) by 19 points 93-74. They outrebounded 25 de Agosto 38-21 including a 30-18 advantage in defensive rebounds. U.Atletica shot the lights out from three sinking 18 long-distance shots on high 54.5 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was point guard Federico Ambrosoni (183-1999) who scored 15 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists. Point guard Nicolas Pereyra (180-1999) chipped in 20 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Four U.Atletica players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American forward Dennis McKinney (193-1998, college: Mt.Mercy, agency: GoEmpire Group) who recorded 25 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Rodrigo Brause (194) added 15 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. U.Atletica's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Montevideo to the arena Capitol.
